Free Websites are the FUN! You can learn how to make a website, or upload the free website templates, and even learn to use HTML! Building a website is also very EDUCATIONAL!! Especially when it's free!

Beware though!!

Often they come with strings attached...the site isn't really yours to publish to any host you choose. Only the web host providing the site builder can publish it once you've spent all that time building it...often for more than you want to pay per month.

My Free Website Builder This easy-to-use software is great for the beginner because it comes with several video tutorials to teach you to make your own webpages step by step. It is easy website building freeware requiring NO HTML knowledge. You can build unlimited websites with it and publish to your favorite host with instant publishing. It also has many, many free website templates. You'll notice when you click here that (of course) they want you to purchase different things or join different things, but the software actually is free...with no strings attached...so we still approve of it.


1st Page 2000 This freeware HTML editor is a lot fun and a great way to learn HTML... Even if you're a beginner with HTML you can go through its tutorial which you'll find in "HELP" and still have fun while learning. It boasts of features that editors costing over $100.00 have. There are even Java scripts. This is not a trial version, but the full version free for you to use. It's very easy to learn. To download 1st Page 2000 click here. For Hosted Free Websites click here. These are web hosts that provide website builders free of charge but you cannot change your web hosting. In many cases that is just fine if you begin with a reputable host, and get a good price for the year. Some even allow unlimited hosting, meaning you can have as many websites as you like for the price of one...as long as you own the domains for them.
